Mexican - Tangy - Fast Food Hot Peppers is the Chipotle and Moes hybrid I loved to see in Astoria. I was craving a burrito bowl like crazyyyyy and just so happened to stumble upon Hot Peppers. You can create your own bowl (which I did as you see below) and add a lot to it. I'll say that I wished the cheese was a bit more shredded but that's my nit-picky complaint. I honestly have nothing bad to say, this was good and their queso was FUEGOOOO. My only regret is not getting a bigger queso. Honestly, it rivals Moe's in that way cause it was THAT good. I didn't get any pictures of the space itself, but it was very sizable for a good amount of folks to sit down and eat their meals. Overall, I loved it, and I can't wait to go back!

I love hot peppers!!! It is so amazing to have a "halal version of Chipotle" on Steinway!! The food is sooo good!! I ordered a salad bowl with chipotle honey chicken and lots of toppings. Very affordable for the amount of food you get. I've been to this place many times already and each time have never left disappointed. The staff are very accomodating and the inside is very clean with good seating. Iwould highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great taco bowl type place with halal options.

Tasted fresh and the chipotle honey chicken had a nice kick to it. I had a big bowl and it was a big portion for 17. Perfect after a nice gym session. Must try.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. My partner and I come here 3-5 times a week for burritos or bowls. Healthier, tastier, AND cheaper than Chipotle, plus you're supporting an NYC-local business. They have a lunch special. Guacamole never costs extra. The workers are all kind and friendly (and by this point they know our orders). And now they have a loyalty program! What more could you want? We've preached the gospel of Hot Peppers to all of our local friends. I hope they stay open forever.
